Terms of Service

Welcome to Vett. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Vett mobile application (the "App") operated by Vett ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's consent to use the App and agree to these Terms.

2. Account Registration

To use certain features of the App, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration and to keep your account information up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@vett-app.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

3. User-Generated Content

The App allows you to submit reviews, ratings, photos, videos, and other content ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content. However, by submitting User Content, you grant Vett a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, display, reproduce, distribute, and modify your User Content in connection with operating and promoting the App. This license continues until your User Content is deleted from the App.

You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to submit your User Content and that it does not violate the rights of any third party.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the App to:

• Post fake, misleading, or dishonest reviews. All reviews must reflect your genuine personal experience with the product.
• Harass, bully, threaten, or intimidate other users.
• Post spam, unsolicited promotions, or repetitive content.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
• Upload content that is obscene, defamatory, hateful, or otherwise objectionable.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App, other user accounts, or our systems.
• Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
• Interfere with or disrupt the App or servers or networks connected to the App.

5. Content Moderation

We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to review, monitor, and remove User Content at our sole discretion. We may remove content that violates these Terms or that we find objectionable for any reason, without prior notice.

6. Affiliate Links and Commissions

The App may contain links to third-party retailers or product pages. Vett may earn a commission on purchases made through these links at no additional cost to you. The presence of affiliate links does not influence the reviews or ratings displayed in the App, which are entirely user-generated. We are committed to transparency: affiliate relationships do not affect how content is ranked or displayed.

7. Intellectual Property

The App and its original content (excluding User Content), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Vett. The App is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App or its content without our prior written consent.

8. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms, is harmful to other users or the App, or is otherwise objectionable. You may delete your account at any time through the App. Upon termination or deletion, your right to use the App ceases immediately, and your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any defects will be corrected.

Skincare product reviews and information provided through the App are user-generated and for informational purposes only. They do not constitute medical or dermatological advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making decisions about your skincare routine.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Vett and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

• Your use of or inability to use the App.
• Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers or any personal information stored therein.
• Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the App.
• Any bugs, viruses, or similar harmful code that may be transmitted to or through the App by a third party.
• Any errors or omissions in any User Content or for any loss or damage incurred as a result of the use of any User Content.

In no event shall our total liability to you for all claims arising from or relating to the App exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or fifty dollars ($50), whichever is greater.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Vett and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from your use of the App, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.

13. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or by other reasonable means before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the App after any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms will otherwise remain in full force and effect.
